"It is really a 50/50. It depends on what teacher you have. Some of the teachers focus more on the students whose parents are also teachers or the students they are related to. They focus more on the students whose parents contribute to the school. And then have a lack of interest for struggling students and place blame on them. Then there are the teachers who are very perceptive and awknowleding of what goes on in there classroom and treats everyone as equals and give off a good learning experience."

"If you're not a child who excels in athletics then you can bet your life that you're not important in the eyes of other parents or teachers, or even school officials. This school is solely based on its athletic departments. The school craves the recognition it thinks it deserves on football, baseball, basketball, cheerleading, and volleyball. They don't appreciate the kids or teachers who put work in on Flag Corp or Band, art club, or some KCTC classes. Not to mention the kids that actually get put on the teams of the top sports in the school. It's the same kids in every sport and it's always the kids whose parents have the most money. If I had a choice to go to KHS again I would never take it. The ONLY way I would ever consider being back at KHS is if I could be at the Votech with my favorite teacher creating graphic designs."

"We have a lot of options when it comes to the science and math departments and we have plenty of AP classes. But most of the teachers don't actually care about homework or class work anyways."

"Bullying happens daily, at school and away from school. Peer pressure is a common thing with it being drugs, ditching class, anything. Most students are raised in very religious families and are not very accepting with race or sexuality differences. Even the teachers act out towards students who are socially awkward or have different religious views, or different race or are open about their sexual orientation."
