"I went to Kennett last year and now I am back at my old school in Gideon. I only went to Kennett for a few months and they are a wonderful school. Way better than Gideon. The discipline was always fair and I just loved it there, but the work was way too hard for me. Kennett definitely prepares you for college, Gideon doesnt but its where I went my whole life :). Go Ktown :)."

"I have 2 step children in Kennett school system. One can't spell above a sixth grade level and mathematics are even worse. The school system is not preparing our children for the future. With the grades I have seen on report cards, there's no way this child should be moving up in grades yet it continues to happen. And as far as the school policies. That's a joke too. The faculty changes the school board policies to meet the punishment they think is jest. That's not how it's supposed to work. The school board has the policies in place for everyone there. Not for just the ones the faculty considers 'trouble makers' or 'problem children.' But, that's just my opinion."

"Kennett school's need a lot of imporvement. The teachers are more worried about being somone important in the community, and not the education of our children. My children no longer go to Kennett schools, for they are failing to prepare them for college. The whole school system needs to be revamped, and influence put on our children and there education. I graduated from Kennett in the late 70's, and since that time the system has really went down hill."

"Just look at the test scores! They are a great watermark for the level of education the students are recieving. The education I recieved didn't come close to preparing me for the courses that are needed in college. I felt there was a general lack of concern for the common student, with an importance placed on the students that didn't need it or were 'easier to help'. I enjoyed my time at KHS very much. I was in the top 10% of my class. This was not because of the amount that I learned from my teachers, but because I fell into the category of 'easy student to help'. I would say that every student deserves that same chance."

"The school is an over all good school to attend, you know your child is going to be safe, the facilities are clean and managed well. For the most part the teachers are well educated. They have a wonderful science department (thanks to Dalton), they have a wonderful social studies department (thanks to those teachers), they have a wonderful English department, a wonderful computers, drama, etc. They have a wonderful math department if your child only goes as high as Algebra 1."
