"My favorite experiences were on the Columbia High School basketball court, and a few club organization experiences. what I believed made CHS unique was the graduation standards, most schools around us only required 20-22 credits to graduate plus their seven exit papers and senior presentation, and CHS required 24 credits plus our seven exit papers and senior presentation. I believe I would still choose to come to this school due to the environment that CHS is famous for, being an open community."

"Academically I did well I could say. Some teachers pushed and challenged more than others both in class and with homework. Some you pretty much had to be there and participate in and you'd be fine. There was not a lot of options with some things but again that could be due to being a small community and lacking in funds."

"The school was not very ethnically diverse. The minority would be the Foreign Exchange Students and any other minority group. Acceptance was not an issue though. People were pretty tough and didn't let much bother them. Everyone for the most part knows everyone and you all get involved in something at the school or nothing would take place! I didn't feel challenged being a Hispanic female. I was involved with sports and clubs all thru out so perhaps I felt connected in that way."

"Over the four years I attended Columbia I encountered a variety of quality in teaching, styles, knowledge and interest. I was fortunate to encounter not only the inconsistent, low grade communication and or grading that forced me to take charge of my own education but also those who assisted me by pushing my limits to reach out of my comfort zone and excel. They didn't allow the little things to come in the way of what they were there for and to ensure that we the students showed in return how well of teachers they were. Though the negative aspects of a few may have stood out I have chosen to find the positive side for myself therefore making sure even the most lacking of moments has helped me grow, mature and chose what, and how I will follow thru in all aspects of my life."

"I do really like this school. I've been in Burbank my whole life. I just wish the younger kids showed respect for the school and community."
