"The school isn't bad, but it isn't fantastic. Emphasis is put on helping lower students. Those on the higher level aren't given many opportunities to improve. There a few select teachers in the art, language, and math departments who are really great at their jobs and do try to push the higher kids. Conveinance of lockers is awful. No one uses them. I've taken to using my car as a locker and switch books during my lunch."

"The school has hardworking teachers and good academic opportunities. The students are, for the most part, not good people, but the academics make up for it."

"The teachers are understanding and helpful, and stay after school every day/"

"Most teachers at the high school are respectful and actually want to be there. With that being said, there are a few teachers that are just there for the pay check. I'm sure other schools have that problem too, but Keokuk's teachers who want to be there outweigh the ones who are there for a paycheck."
