    "I'm a graduate from Gompers, and I'm a the true results of this excellent school. Their academic programs, the teachers, the security and the management are outstanding. I was a Engineering major, IBM inter, Athlete, honor student, and class president for two consecutive years. And currently studying to become a teacher to go back to my school and give something back from what they gave me when i was there. Tell me what school will give your child a close environment, a one on one teacher help, the principal knowing your name."

    "So far so good!! My son attends this school he is in his junior year. If you are willing to work with the staff they will work with you and your child, but you have to make the effort. They have great courses and plenty help for your kid needs - tutors and lots of activities. The school still needs help with construction they need a new roof and new windows. The best thing about this school is that it is a stand alone school, not a school in a school. A nice small environment to educate your child the teacher here call you to death, but that is because they care. They also have a very good parent base co-ordinator that speaks at least two languages that I know."

    "Gompers, for all the bad publicity we get, continues to be a beacon of light for a lot of kids who would otherwise be ignored in other schools. I challenge any school to find the kind of staff that we have as we try our best to work with every student on a personal and professional level. Our academic program is challenging and finds many of our students ready for the world in the area of technology upon graduation. Some of our students our able to get good paying jobs right out of Gompers with the experience they get with our Electronics and Engineering program. Some go on to IBM thru an internship we have with the company. Beat that! Gompers, for those that truly know us from the inside, know that it is a great High School."

    "The best school ever! I'm a graduate student from Gompers. No one can compare this school. You find your true self. Teachers care about you and are always there to support no matter what. and Ofcourse, which school doesn't have gangs? But the security system is like no other in this school."

    "Major discipline issues. Violence is up. And a lot of gang related problems. Principal has no proper administration management skills."
