"When us adults think about high school we think, the dark days, loner days, etc. we think about high school being boring and although at times it was, it also had it's awesome moments. High school has its ups and downs and that's how it was for me at Santa Ana High. There were days that I loved it and days I dreaded getting up and thinking about walking into that territory. Although, I had my ups and downs Santa Ana High was such an amazing school with amazing teachers who actually cared about your education. I think I had more up than downs during my 4 years of being in high school. And whenever someone asks me what high school I went to I tell them "Santa Ana high school. Once a Saint, Always a Saint!""

"I went to Santa Ana High School for four years. I have also seen the school grow so much such as increasing parent involvement, creating additional programs for students, an increase of the student body involvement, etc. Especially with having a new principal, he's very open-minded in hearing out the students and helping them in any way possible. He also interacts with students. With his vision, there are good things happening for Santa Ana. In addition, the staff, teachers and counselors, are always there when one needs them. They're willing to stay after school to host tutoring sessions or if one simply wants to chat. But most importantly, they're always giving students access to possible resources such as internships, scholarships, etc. They simply want to see their students succeed. As alumni, I'm happy to see the growth, Santa Ana continues to go through, especially breaking the stereotype it once carried."

"Santa Ana High school is a good school and a place of diversity because it's in a dominant Hispanic neighborhood. There are many teachers who are well prepared to teach and support us. What I would like to see change is more club activities and school activities so school is not just a place to learn, but also to have fun but learn at the same time"
