"My family moved to Kissimmee last year. It took over a week to get a schedule and he didn't have books through the first week. Bullying is a huge problem. The administration does not return phone calls or emails(I had to get the State Board involved in one issue). Trying to keep track of your child's progress is impossible. We can only check thier homework on-line, yet the teachers are 2-3 weeks behind. The students spend half of the class doing "homework"(shouldn't they be learning?). Most teachers will teach some of the class in Spanish. I guess my expectations for a Charter school were much higher. My son will be entering the 7th grade, and the school is well below the state average(FCAT). Oh, and by the way, if you can ever get a parent-teacher conference scheduled, don't expect much. The teachers get too defensive and question you the parent for your concern. Makes no sense. If you are a parent looking for attentive teachers, reachable administrators, and an excellent education than Bellalago Academy should not be your first or second choice. We are less than two weeks from school starting and the website isn't even updated. That should say it all."

"Wow what a coincidence! My daughter has been going to this school since 2009 too. She was always a "A" student! But here her grades goes down. After months of a deep investigation (by my self) I found she was victim of bully from diferent students. At the bus, at the school. I talked to different liders at school without a real help...other than..."hey, don't pay attention to those student!"...But what was the cherry on the top? The chorus teacher don't have the hability and knowledge to deal with student! Instead, he made my daughter's semester more hard..doing the same. I hope he changes his way, stop disturbing students who are not their favorite group and understand that his job is to help students NOT to make their life more difficult! He has just become a father. Life has planted and harvested. He should think a little more in their future generation...God bless your son when he gets to school!"

"I have had nothing but great experiences with the school! The teachers are some of the best I have ever seen and the Principal is always willing to speak with me. It is evident that the people who work there truly have a love for the kids. The parents who are complaining should probably look at the actions of their own students and quit blaming them on the school."

"My daughter has been going to this school since 2009. She is a straight A student but the school has changed. There is a huge bully problem there. I know numerous parents who have the same problem. Here is an example, while in chorus class an after school activity my daughter was scratched on her arm and spit in her face. She tried to tell the teacher and he would not listen. The result after talking with the teacher and I quote "I don't care" If you can send you children to an other school send them to one that does not tolerate bullying of any kind. This is a nationwide disease which is a very sad thing. One positive note. My child's teachers have really been good over the past 3 years. My daughter passed the FCAT with a 4 which reflects on her teacher."
