"A wonderful school with a great Administration and Teachers. It is a very organized school and rewards children for behavior, grades and attendance. The Stretch for Excellence (or Gumby) program is a great way to get the kids motivated to achieve more. My children are very happy at this school."

"Sunrise Elementary is a unique school, because throughout the years it demonstrate that, change can be done, with hard work and dedication, that's why it is now a Grade ' A ' school, and going much further."

"Sunrise Elementary is a blessing. I have a 2nd grader who absolutely couldn't wait to get to school every day. Her teacher not only made learning fun, but surprised me by challenging my daughter more than I even thought she could be challenged!"

"I give Sunrise 5 stars!!! This school has been such a blessing for my 2 kids & for my husband & I. We see the effort that all of the staff puts out there for ALL the kids. Upsetting is reading the 2 comments from parents regarding the school that say the school is no good. They are dead wrong!!! If maybe they would participate more in school activities or show up for SAC & PTO meetings maybe they would see what the school does for their kids. To all the staff Keep up all your great work ! "I definitely do not recommend this school if you have a child with a learning disability or need to have services through an IEP! They are not open to more accomadations after others have failed. One thing that would help any child is to have recess midday to release energy instead of at the end of the day for 15 minutes! Also, there is a cruddy reward system in place for good behavior and they do not reward first graders for straight a's! My child has a major attention and focus problem and their only answer is to medicate! I feel there could be more effort to accomadate then take the easy way out. Highly disappointed parent."
