"Overall I've had good experiences with the teachers. There's a select few that all the students mutually don't like but apart from that the teachers are awesome."

"This school has been really amazing. So many classes are offered and the teachers try with great effort to give students the information they need to do well in each class. One of the most impressive things about this school is its principal. Mr. Olivero, is so engaged with the students and he does his best to show up at all extracurricular events. At our cross country meets, at our orchestra banquets, and even in the pep rallies, Mr. Olivero is always there. This school also has a variety of clubs for the students. If I could, I wish I could go back to my freshman year and join more of the clubs that are offered. Although older students can be intimidating, most tried to be very warm and welcoming to the new students. I remember at my first school orientation, one senior showed a small group and me around the entire school with an astonishing amount of enthusiasm. Also, we have such school spirit at football games, the energy is almost tangible! The band plays its pep songs and everyone is excited and engaged. I genuinely enjoy being a part of the music program at our school as well, where everyone works hard to make the best music possible, and tries to represent University City with an awesome sound. If I had to do everything over, I would still choose this school."

"Most of the teachers don't teach from the textbook and if you have a question, they are more than happy to answer it and make sure you understand whatever you are asking about."
