"very nice school, and great principal, however, I think many of the teachers are extremely unapproachable. Trying to get a word in with them before or after school is unfortunatly a bad experience. They may say you can speak with them at those times, but they sure don't give you a feeling of welcome. Its very transparent that you are bothering them. Its to bad. Perhaps the principal should encourage them to be more open and kind to the parents. Us parents are there because we obviously care ALOT about our children, so teachers, please give us the time of day when we need your support on an issue."

"CVES is an amazing school with teachers, staff, and a principal that truly cares. How many schools can boast a principal who knows every single student? The person who wrote about Mrs. Alexander should take a hard look at herself as a parent. When you point a finger at someone else, there are three pointing back at you. My child had Mrs. Alexander and THRIVED in her class. She inspired the kids to be great readers and many of her students were doing multiplication and division. She caters the lessons to each student's level. Are you involved at the school? If not, you should. That is what truly tells you what is happening in the school. Don't base your opinion on a schizophrenic parent who can't control their own child. Get to know the people at the school first."

"NOT a great school. I enrolled my daughter in kindergarten here last year. She was in a class room where two teachers share the class - it was like Dr. Jekyl and Mr Hyde. My daughter was having a hard time adjusting to being at school, and I caught one of the teachers literally screaming at her as she sobbed not long after I dropped her off. It was really scary to see a kindergarten teacher acting in such an uncontrolled and inappropriate, and just cruel manner to such a young child adjusting to a new school. I would hate to see how she treats the kids half way through the school year. I do not recommend. It was very traumatizing for my daughter, and infuriating for me. I will say that the principle handled it in a nice way, and the teacher apologized - but really should people like this ever be in a classroom?"

"I have two kids at Crown Valley and absolutely love it! It's the kind of close knit school that I remember going to...great families, wonderful teachers, fantastic principle, and dedicated PTA. Our campus is beautiful with large, mature trees and a vegetable garden in the middle. The kids recycle and have started a composting program. My kids are getting a great education and love their school!"
