"I loved how through out my four years of high school, everyone felt like a family. There was hardly anything to complain about, other than having to be taught more in dept than just touch the subjects because of the requirements."

"I loved going to University! I'm a senior, and today is my last day. I am eternally grateful for my 4 amazing, exciting high school years. Teachers and administration at UHS are truly amazing, supportive, and patient. I've never had a bad teacher here. Students are very nice...there is a wonderful sense of community. UHS's advanced courses and wide range of electives, as well as special education program prove that students learn at their own pace. In my classes, we did lots of hands-on, engaging learning. UHS has an AMAZING athletics program as well as fine arts. We also have an outstanding club called Best Buddies, where students who join are paired up with special needs students and hang out with them, and even go on field trips! I am very excited for the next 4 years I will be spending at Harvard in Massachusetts. There are so many fun events here, and most importantly, Trojan pride."

"University High School is an extremely diverse environment that truly prepares its students for secondary education and beyond. The people I have met here have become my closest friends, and there is focus on arts, sports, school spirit, and academics all in one place. My time at UNI has been extremely enjoyable, and I wouldn't change it for the world. Although, I do wish that some staff were more in tune with their students needs and that there was more of a focus on the average student. There are many resources for very accomplished students and then those who need more help, but there is not much for the average student going through their academic days here."

"University High School prepares me well for the future, but it is a rather difficult school with a high level of competitiveness that comes with it."

"I came from a public school in Inglewood, California and it was only 2% white and the rest was African American and Hiapanic. I was not use to this environment, so my family and I had some concerns on how we would fit in. I can say University has help me. Here a University has so many opportunities that at my other school didn't have and the learning style was different but good. I would recommend any kid that want a good education to go to University High, in Irvine California."
