"It's a good school regardig the teaching staff. The administrators, including the principal and vice-principal have a poor displinary plan for the student's safety. Special Education teachers need improvement on professional communication."

"We have a son with Aspergers. He is gifted but struggles with social skills. The school has not responded to our requests for help in teaching him how to read body language. The administration has been very passive. My son had to be removed from this school and home-schooled for the rest of this year because safety has been a huge issue for him. The Connnected Math curriculum that they use is terrible too. It leaves big gaps where they should be learning important steps."

"My husband and I have been very pleased with my son's progress at North Lake Middle school. The teachers and administrators have been quick to respond to any questions or concerns we have. They are supportive and encouraging to my son. I would like to see a little more rigorous Writing curriculum. All in all though it has been a very positive school for my son to attend. I hold the teachers and administrators in high regard despite some things we might not see eye to eye on."
