"This school needs a lot of work. FIrst, there is a lack of administrative suport for staff and parents. The principal does not seem to be in contact with parents, and there is only one administrator for 450 students...too much to handle. Next, the school is very dirty. There is grim and dirt in cracks and corners of the hallways and classrooms. It is very unsanitary. Next, there are no extra curricular activities for students to participate in. There is no playground and the students play in a parking lot full of cars during recess with limited equipment. Also, the school lacks materials for students to use, such as playground equipment., art supplies, gym equipment, etc. It is sad to watch five kids fight over a single hula-hoop! Most of the staff are genuinely interested in teaching, however the classroom sizes are too large to promote individual growth. Thirty kids to a classroom does not foster learning but rather creates distractions. There seems to be lack of consistant discipline handed down by teachers and administration which is a major concern."

"The teacher's are awesome and the parent's seem to get involved alot with the PTO. My daughter has an IEP and they are keeping me up-to-date on her progress all the time."

"This school is good. It needs more parent/principal collaboration and definitely more parent/school board communication but the teachers are excellent and the class sizes are wonderful. Our kids love to go to school most days and the quality of homework are comparable to local private & catholic schools. The really need more extracurricular activities !"

"parent academics are great a lot of work. sports for after school are not available but that has to be worked and the school has tried just not enough money. I'm sure it will change. parent involvement is good. there are many parents that help out on many different things, field trips, class room help, & drill team./"
