    "My child has attended for 3 years, this school is the bare basics and nothing more. There is a lot of bullying in the early grades if your child does not "fit the mold" of expectation. We have had trouble with every teacher being negative and non-inventive about learning styles. Our children are not automatons and this school is not a place to send a sensitive child. Parking is restrictive, beware of ticketing when picking up children here. The lack of care is palatable in many teachers and office staff. Parents are often left out of the loop, and you may be locked into back play areas if you go pick your child up late. The children deserve better in acadamia, no arts or music, nor many sports programs. Also, we deserve to be allowed to walk our offspirng to class, not kept out, and this may cause low parent participation."

    "I have two kids at the school, they have been there from kindergarten,now they are both in 3rd and 5th grade. Previous years I have loved the teachers and my kids truly enjoyed school. This year so far has been a nightmare I know the class size must be stressful but its so chaotic, how are my kids going to learn anything? As of now I am contemplating taking them out of the school."

    "Lincoln Elementary is a very caring place for students. Its principal, Donna Shoffner, is a dedicated professional who genuinely works with each staff member and parent to help each student be successful."

    "Our son was a 2nd grader at Lincoln and I have to say this school and the district in general is a failure. How can you only have one elementary school in the whole district passing AYP. The administration has a bad attitude and the teachers just seem to not really care.My son was in a class of 15 2nd graders,out of 15 only him and another student won citizenship awards for having there homework done every week. I know it's not the teachers fault but where is the communication. We were fortunate to be able to move to TX where the education system is the # 1 priority. In the 3 years that my son attended Lincoln not once did we get a phone call from a teacher giving any feedback/concerns on our son. In the 3 weeks being here we get one once a week giving feedback."

    "This school has been a huge disappointment. The kindergarden students seem to lack adequate playtime, and have barely enough time to eat a snack (10 minutes) before returning to academics. The academics are heavily stressed to the detriment of social skills and play therapy. The children are not allowed to touch one another at all, as well, rather strange if you ask me. There ia a lack of parking at this school, and the police will ticket parents (I was ticketed) at pick-up and drop-off times. Very unusual tactics which the school admits they employ, using the police to patrol streets. I spoke to the principle and she was unsympathetic to this plight of parents, stressing the safety issue, and that Lincoln is a 'walking school', that we should be walking our children to school, not driving them. I think the fact we live in an often HOT! desert was unaccounted for."
