"What makes Lancaster High School unique is the sense of unity. At spirit assemblies and during sport events, everyone comes together and cheers on the school as a whole. When one team wins an award, the whole school cheers and congratulates them on their great work. In spirit assemblies, each class participates in friendly competition with the other classes. Students often help each other out with problems. Lancaster also has some of the best art and music programs. The academies available not only for art and music but for hospitality and tourism, healthcare, finance, leadership, and project lead the way. These programs help students develop skills in the fields they want to study in college. Some of my favorite experiences are the Lancaster vs. Depew football games and the spirit assemblies. We always come together as a school and cheer each other on. If I had to go trough high school again, I would surely choose Lancaster High School."

"The teachers at Lancaster High School are truly dedicated to their lessons and making sure students are learning the material. Of the teachers that I have had, they are all very knowledgeable in the subject that they teach. I learn they best in a typical classroom setting where the teacher gives and explains notes and afterwards the class works on problems. I've experienced what is called a "flipped classroom", where the teacher records video notes which are to be taken at home and then what would have been homework becomes classwork. That system didn't work for every student. However, many students preferred it. Teachers definitely tend to students needs. If someone needs help, they do not hesitate and spend a lot of time helping students. Teachers often tell students what periods of the day they are free for helping and often have a sign on their door that tells when the free periods are."

"I have had more great teachers than awful ones. I have many teachers that I admire and look up too and still talk to in my senior year. Past teachers who have known me from my earlier grades still say hello to me in there hallway and make an effort to see how I am doing. The teacher are amazing here at Lancaster Central High."
