"i go to this school and I beg my parents everyday to take me out and put me elsewhere. They don't understand that the kids think their better than anyone else. They judge you for anything and everything. They think their better than others because their parents have money. They brag about what kind of car their getting next year. My friends go to public school and their never judged. Their accepted. I really want to leave this school. Teachers/ administration does nothing to help. My prints struggle to send me here. They can't give a lot of money toward the new stadium. I really hope I can convince my parents to take me out. I would never send my child here."

"Love Love Love Providence. Providence is fabulous at being very realistic about the world we live in and getting our kids ready for it. If you are looking for a Christian school that keeps its head in the sand and thinks that bad things can't happen at a Christian school--then Providence is not for you. Sin doesn't stop at the door. They do a great job at getting kids ready for college (I think 100% are accepted into college and SAT scores are in the 1800s), but they also challenge the students to understand why they believe what they believe. Teachers and leaders have had to make some tough calls this year. There are certain standards that I appreciate at Providence that you don't find at other Christian schools because most schools don't want to hold to their mission for the sake of getting more students. Providence is amazing at what they do."

"I am a 2005 alum and now on staff. It was in Mrs. Corbett s 7th grade Bible class that I gave Lordship over my life to Jesus Christ. It was on Coach Dan Davis varsity basketball team that I learned to play with heart and in a way that was honoring to the One who had gifted me all along. It was in Mr. Hunsberger s Marriage and Family class as a senior that I gained a greater appreciation for my parents and an awareness of the legacy that is their blessed union. And it was to Connie Anderson (the assistant to the Elementary/Middle School principal) that I went when I first learned my father was diagnosed with stage 4 follicular lymphoma. It was all right HERE. Providence is not a just a building, same as your house is not just four walls. It s a place where the heart gets touched and a character is molded. Lives are transformed because an encounter with our Savior and the people He uses can be nothing less. That s what love does it revolutionizes the ordinary. You take a group of people serving and submitting to the One who first loved us and the impact becomes exponential. So to me, Providence is not just a school. It s not just my alma mater. It s home."

"There are many reasons why Providence won the best private high school in Gwinnett County for three years in a row: The school is academically challenging and the teachers are more than teachers, they are role models and are involved in their student's lives. Our children, who are in the 8th and 9th grade came out of a public school environment where they weren't particularly excited about school. After being at Providence for the last year, they now look forward to coming to school each day. We have seen them grow so much in their faith as they are around strong, godly role models and we have seen them embrace their academic studies with vigor because they are around people who actually care about them and don't count them as just another number. They also have developed deep friendships with other students as the schedule allows time for them to actually interact with one another, unlike public school. We are impressed by the administration who has always been responsive to our needs and feel blessed to be a part of this school."

"We just won Best Private High School for the third year in a row..and that is with competition like GAC and Wesleyan! Providence is also one of the few schools that actually grew in student numbers last year. Nearly doubled in Kindergarten and gained a third in 9th grade! I LOVE this school!! Because Providence is a school that requires a Christian component to their admission process, there are certain actions and behaviors that won't be tolerated. I, as a parent of 2 students, appreciate that. The quite graphic stories I am hearing from other private schools who are "Christian", yet accept students expelled from public schools, are scary. I understand that if you're a parent of a student who has had to deal with consequences to their actions, you will question the decisions of the administration. I greatly appreciate the tough decisions our high school principal has had to recently make. Some students are a better fit at different schools. Providence is not for everyone. There are plenty of other schools with lower standards. You find what is the best fit for your family and your student."
