"They teach whole language instead of phonics~ which I don't agree with, and I am a teacher. Also one of the secertaties is very rude!"

"I recently moved my two children to this school, and they love. Not only do they love it my wife and I are happy and excited about their progress at Pioneer. The principal is fairly new and seems to have done a great job replacing the last principal. The attention that is paid to my children and other children as well is unmatched. This school keeps an eye on everything that is going on, and supports all different walks of life that all children come from. I can sleep at night now knowing that the people that I entrust my children with during the day are safe and obtaining a quality education that will prepare them for later challenges in life, pertaining to school."

"Wow! We can not say enough about this school and the staff who work and make this such a positive place for our children to be learning and growing. As a new parent who transferred from another Lebanon school we were unsure of alot of things and the staff have really made us feel welcome. When my child had a problem it was handled with priority. Mr Noss and the teaching staff are truely wonderful. I feel that if you are not getting what you want for your child only you can fight for them and go after what they need so for the other parents who have commented on poor communication and lack of support you really need to do what it takes to get what you need. We would highly recommend this school!"

"I am extremely pleased with the direction the school is taking. My granddaughter has a large variety of opportunities suited to her particular level in that subject. There are also many family opportunities throughout the year. I'd rate this a top school!"

"No school is perfect. As a parent of 3 children, I can tell you that during k-12th grade no matter what school your kids go to...you will encounter some sort of problem. My personal experience with pioneer school has been great. My 7th grader was being bullied. He wasn't letting anyone know about it at school. I personally went and talked first with the teacher, then with the counselor. I had absolutely no problem getting it solved. Mrs. Hartness is at the school in the pass room. She is also great at getting the kids involved together and getting down to the problem. I have to wonder..did the teacher's, counselor, Mrs. Hartness know what was going on? I have a hard time believing that they knew and didn't deal with it. The principal & staff have always been very supportive, and have provided positive encouragement."
