"I have a child in this school. I am doing everything I can to get out of my lease at this moment so that he can attend a different school next year. This is a very small school with little resources. It seems to be lowest man on the totem pole for the district. Teachers are moved around to different schools each year... this includes regular classroom teachers as well as special education teachers and aids. They never seem to know if teachers will be there from one year to the next which gives the children no continuity at all. We have had a particularly bad experience with my son's teacher with little communication and unwillingness to work with my son's special needs. They are not well education on the needs of the Autistic and are less than happy about making accommodation. The school actually lost my son early in the school year when they put him on the bus when he was supposed to be in latchkey. They promptly attempted to sweep this event under the rug. If your child is not special needs and you enjoy the small "hometown" feel this school might work well for your family. I did enjoy those aspects of the school."
