"Let me make this clear. The teaching staff is great. The school management is terrible. In an incident involving my child who was a student there, when I brought the matter to the AP's attention, she totally shrugged it off and said "if you don't like it take her elsewhere". When I finally approached the principal he totally backed her up without even bothering to ask me my side of the story or what occurred with my daughter. So let me make the distinction. The teachers are great educators. Unfortunately due to the school's administration, this school deserves negatives star ratings."

"I can't imagine that any intelligent parent would rate this school so highly. I was treated with complete disrespect by both the VP and Principal. We were on the waitlist for preschool and couldnt produce a birth certificate because we were living with relatives and without a permanent residence. Our belongings were in storage. CPS states that a BC is not required given our circumstances. Admin did not know any of the guidelines and did not have a point of contact for the preschool admissions. I was being called and emailed by 2 different people (the VP and the preschool teacher) telling me different things and barely even giving me 24 hours for chance to respond. When we went in person for the "preschool interview" we had scheduled earlier in the week, we were told our spot had been given to someone else b/c we did not give them the documents. But they failed to tell us this so we wasted our time coming in. They never called, or emailed . When we asked to speak with the Principal, because I was livid at this point., we were ignored for 30m and told he was "in the bathroom" by the secretary. The VP was rude, condescending, and a bully. SHAMEFUL and disgraceful."

"I love this school. The teachers and parents all care and get involved. I'm glad I gave my neighborhood school a chance!!! My kids learn more here than they did in public school."

"Still loving it! This is our 2nd year. Our child is in 1st grade and we absolutely love her teacher again this year. The parental level of involvement has improved even more this year and in a couple of years I can tell this is a place where people will be begging to send their kids. I understand the Kindergarten this year had to turn away students from outside the neighborhood at some point. Big fan!"

"We transfered all three of our children here this year and couldn't be happier. We never thought we'd see the day that our children come home and do their work without a problem. The teachers do a great job of making learning fun and exciting! All of the families we have met have been so nice and welcoming. This school is like a small town school in the middle of a large city. We really like this school! Stop by a school tour and see for yourself. This school truly cares about the children!"
