"For the most part, the teachers wonderful. Unfortunately, the pressure to remain a grade A school prevents them from providing individual attention to those children in need. The pressure to stick to the cirriculum is too great. Many of children with learning/behavior disorders are stuck into the mainstream and are pushed to the wayside in order to focus on the majority."

"VERY-VERY disappointed that THIS SCHOOL has gone over the 18:1 max student to teacher ratio in its classrooms. The students suffer. And taking kids into classrooms, or transfer students who are behind dramatically than the rest of the class, who put the classroom over the student:teacher ratio makes me very concerned about the education my children are missing out on. I do, however, agree with most positive remarks about the school. Small classrooms 14-17 students per teacher would make this school rated at 5 STARS."

"I have been involved with this school for many years. It has ALWAYS been a joy. The teachers are above excellent. The administration is top notch. We had a job offer and turned it down in part because we wanted the girls to stay in Buckhorn. I could not imagine we would have found another school that is as dedicated to its students. Parent involvement is highly encouraged and as a result the community well supports this school. I believe my child's future has been elevated as a result of attending Buckhorn. You will not be disappointed if your children are given the opportunity to attend this fantastic school."

"Amazing school from teachers to administration. Parental involvement through PTA and voluteer-ism cannot be beat! I have a 4th grader and a Kindergartener that both have excellent teachers. I cannot say enough great things about this great school!"

"I love Buckhorn! The guidance the teacher has provided for my son has been above and beyond what I would expected."
