"Creek is a very big school with lots of things to do so it's easy to get lost and caught up in all of it."

"I think Creek has provided me with some very good opportunities in terms of a strong education. However, the school is very privileged and resistant to change, and I think many students come out of Creek still in a bubble."

"I think the school is great for some, but if I had the chance to do it over again I probably wouldn't choose Cherry Creek only because the competition and politics in the sports, especially football, is crazy and I think I would have had a much better experience somewhere else where I felt important on and off the field. Too many kids, and not enough good and caring teachers. There also isn't really a sense of community unless you drive a Mercedes to school everyday."

"We intentionally moved into the neighborhood in which we live so that our child can attend this high school. There are nearly 4000 students that go there, so it is not perfect, nor is it the right school for every child, but it was the right school for our child. There is something for everyone, whether you are involved in academics, arts, sports, religion, or community service. If there is not a club that you are interested in, you can easily create one and get a staff sponsor. There are over 100 clubs and sports. The academics are rigorous, but the really prepare the students for college. The only complaint is that everything is so competitive. The arts are excellent, and the music program, consisting of 7 choirs and several band programs, has won a Grammy for it's excellence. If your child hasn't been participating in a sport for many years and doesn't do it year-round, it's not likely they will be able to do it in high school (with exception of a couple of not-cut sports). The Theater is the same, and often there is favoritism in that program. Your child does have to advocate for themselves, but that prepares them for college, and the counselors are very involved."

"I have personally witnessed a lot of attendants that have very unsupportive parents, but not the majority."
