"My kids really like Nate Perry Elementary School. And as a physician who is licensed by the New York State Education Department I deeply appreciate good teachers and administrators who go a step above just doing their job well to help kids enjoy their education. And so I think Nate Perry Elementary School deserves this $20,000 prize!"

"I sadly have to agree with the last two posts made recently. In my opinion this is the worst school within the Liverpool NY school district. Friends and acquaintances who teach and attend the other schools within this district and do not have the problems NPE has. The teachers seem to be totally out of touch with the parents at this school. Notice I said at 'this school'? that is because you feel far from welcome here and you are surely not made to feel like it is your child's school. Sadly I am anxious for my children to be finished with Nate Perry school and I am afraid they got less of an education than they would of at another of the Liverpool schools."

"When parents call on local advocates and they can guess what school your child goes to... there is a problem! This school does not have the best interests of the children who go there in mind, and could really work on a family centered approach to special education. My child is being discriminated against at this school and school district."

"This school couldn't be any worse. The staff are always looking out for themselves and not the best interest of the child. I have a daughter who goes here and I am definitely looking into other options. The unexperience and the arrogance of the staff do not help promote a ood learning environment."
