"I graduated from glen cove, and when i got to college i understood how great going to glen cove was. for one, it is very diverse and that is not something you get to experience many places. the education was great. i graduated with a 3.7 and know that i still need to go strong in college."

"As a current sophmore at GCHS, I think that it is a good school for extracurriculars, but unless you get lucky you can miss out on alot. I have seen the principal twice in my entire time here. There are few good teachers, but there are twice as many bad ones. The guidence are not really that helpful unless you have a question about the schedule. The food is atrocious, and the facility is not nearly as clean as it should be. I must say parent involvement is generally non existant. I must say that I am happy to be leaving this school and starting my Junior and Senior years at another school."

"I feel that this school cares mainly for the top ranked students. they have wonderful programs for you if you are in the top percent of you class. if you are in the middle somewhere, you will get lost. plenty of extracurricular activities, but the same group of kids are involved with everything. i would love to see this school get the esl population involved more. because there are plenty of them."
