"I am rating CHS based on my experiences only. For me, I had a very good high school experience. As most of my friends, I have supportive, dedicated and involved parents positively impacting my H.S. experience. I am very grateful for this."

"I love cabrillos academic learning. I love how my schools teacher tried there best to help other students succeed by giving us extra credit and letting us learn stuff in a slow pace."

"The district is very low budget and has way too many kids per classroom. It's a typical experience to find problems with bullying and drugs within the two high schools. The teachers though are generally very helpful and are always willing to put their students before their paychecks. To some of my teachers they helped push me through not only my classes, but through all the way to college. More specifically Cabrillo high school has problems with sanitation with it's bathrooms and transgender kids have it more rough that probably other schools in local districts. Also most of the district's budget goes towards the other high school's football team and their equipment which is unfortunate as many kids struggle in class to even get things like paper and pencils so don't count on getting any assistance with basic necessities. Food is decent it's not great but it's not inedible."

"I've attended Cabrillo High School for four years and it definitely has its ups and downs. I enjoyed the arts program at this school as well as a few classes including history and English my junior year. I've had some negative experiences with rude teachers and staff although. I think the school doesn't put money towards books and other items that are needed for a better education."

"The teachers at Cabrillo High School are all very polite. The teachers have all shown a form of interest and support for our education and this really means a lot. If i would change something i would want to update the classroom looks because many of the classrooms need reparation."
