"They truly care about each student and do their best to support them. Proud to have both sons graduate from Berthoud schools. We are Blessed."

"Berthoud high school, while it may seem to be a great school due to its small size and academic standards, it isn't. This school has terrible budgeting issues that need to be addressed to be up to par with surrounding schools in the area. The focus on academic achievement seems to be lost within the athletic department of the school. Although budgeting allows for a new gymnasium, new paint for the lockers, and new seats for the indoor sporting events, many books within the school are far outdated, and for most AP classes, the students must purchase their own books because the schoolboard cannot afford an AP curriculum class set. The school will send a bus full of arrogant football players to games across the state, yet knowledge bowl funds are too low to transport students to meets within even the district. This school is not recommended for achieving students"

"Berthoud is a great school! It has caring, knowledgeable teachers, a fantastic principal who has been there for over 30 years, and many opportunities for involvement. Many Boettcher scholars have come from Berthoud."

"Berthoud High School is one of the best high schools in the area. The teachers and counselors truly care about their students, and work to help their students succeed in school. The school is smaller than others in the area, which means the staff gets to know the students very well and can help them. My son was not doing well in another school so we transferred him to Berthoud High and he did much better."

"Berthoud High School is a great school if you want your child to learn in a stress free and quiet enviornment where there is small enough class sizes to really feel that you are understanding the material that is being taught to you. Some disadvantages of this school would be that there is little racial diversity. Many students there have known one another since grade school and they understand and generally respect eachother for their choices and opinions. Being a rural community many students have grown up with morals and responsibilites that they had learned from working on the land with their parents. Berthoud is very much a bedroom community. Berthoud High School has amazing teachers that actually want to help the students they teach become something. The Guidance Couselours at Berthoud High School however, S.U.C.K. Berthoud High School focuses very hard on accademics and sports. Please Come to Our School."
