"Great principal and teachers. Really invested in students and flexible in adjusting for advanced students' needs."

"Both of my children attend MMS & I am actually sad to be moving on this year. Most of the teachers are exceptional, as well as both principals, and the vocal music teacher is outstanding! Mead Middle School prepared both of my kids well for high school."

"We moved to Mead in summer 2007 as my oldest daughter was beginning 7th grade. We had lived in a nearby community, in the same district, since she was in Kindergarten. We are not rich and did not have social connections that I've read about on this website. We had only lived in town for a month and as parents do, worried about how the move might affect our kids. It's never easy being the new kid. We were pleasantly surprised at the easy transition. Our daughter felt welcomed by everyone at the school - teachers, staff, administration and students - with the exception of a few 8th grade bullies, or 'haters' as my daughter calls them. On the last day of school, my daughter hugged me and said 'Thanks for moving to Mead, mom. This has been the best year of my life!' That says it all!"

"This middle school is the best school in Colorado. Any parent looking for a school to enroll their child in, should highly consider this school. Mead Middle has recieved the Trailblazer School to Watch award and is no doubt one of the most hard working schools ever. Mead rocks!!!"

"Its an excellent school. The small community and small number of students contribute to the high test scores, and great social works. My kids have all attended and are attending there and love it. The teachers care about each student individually whether if it is for their progress or socially. The kids aren't all best friends, but everyone has respect for each other."
