"There isnt much the parents can be involved in but when it comes to parent meeting or meetings that parents attend that regards the community it does get packed with parents."

"The teachers at my school are great. If you need someone to talk to other than homework, you have a friend to confide in. Most of the teachers are funny and they all stay afterschool during office hours to help you out when you don't understand something."

"Compared with what my friends have told me about their school, I can proudly say that my school has the most passionate, dedicated, and caring professors. They give it their all to help struggling students by using pragmatic examples in order for students to understand. The school's professor add extra time, and work, so students could fully comprehend the lesson. The professor care about the students because their goal is to prepare every student for success and it is accomplished by fully explaining the lesson again or by using different examples to emphasize the same point."

"My overall experience is great. From my first year attending this school, I knew that I was going in the right direction to success. My favorite experience at this school was being able to share a personal story in front of the whole freshmen class because it made me feel as if we were one big family. This is one of the unique characteristics that this school has because it stimulates college life in many ways. From the core values that it emphasizes to the academic expectation. As a result of giving my speech in front of the whole class, I was given the opportunity to say it to the whole school. This later led to a trip to Sacramento to advocate for charter schools. In my junior year, being academically successful, in my perspective, enabled me to be part of the Back East Side Trip, short for B.E.S.T., in which the chairman of the school board director sponsored a trip Boston to visit the Universities. The uniqueness of my school is also the one-to-one interaction with teachers and board directors because they would later provide recommendations to universities. My experience at my school is an unforgettable memory because it gave me the opportunity to see the big world that is out their and not the small world that most people live in."
