"Although there have been quite a few changes to the environment of LACHSA, I would say that the administration has done a nice job at providing the best environment that they possibly can for the school, especially the seniors, who are the last grade that remember what the old LACHSA was like. Even though there have been a few bumps in the road relating to funding and school provision, LACHSA has done a great job in maintaining a good vibe all around."

"Although most of the teachers at LACHSA genuinely care for the students that are in said class, I do believe that there is a small handful of teachers that actually want the students to fail. For example, one of the economics teachers, always talks down to her students, and says statements like "If you fail, which I'm expecting on this test, then that's on you!" On the other hand, one of the best senior english teachers, strives to make sure that every lesson that is taught in the classroom is engaging and fun for the students. If one kid receives a bad grade, then the teacher will call him in after class and work to keep the students grades up. Therefore, I say, there is an equilibrium relating to the teacher's work ethics at LACHSA."

"Although the arts teachers (the afternoon teachers) are fantastic, the academic teachers often seem to lack drive and consistency that is crucial to teaching."

"Overall, LACHSA has taught me so much. Not only in my arts, but in how to deal with many different types of people and learners, along with unstandard curriculum."

"My high school experience so far had been great. What makes LAHSA unique is that it's a small academy located in RFK where theres about 400 students in total. LAHSA is like a second home for me because everyone gets a long so well with each other. It's an Arts school where I've had the opportunity to learn things I never thought I would be able to learn. I would pick this school again because I feel safe in this academy and my teachers play a big roll in my choice of picking LAHSA again. My teachers have gave me support ever since I started going as a freshmen. They're always there for me whenever I'm struggling in any academic classes. I know I have their support and they encourage me to keep on trying hard in school to reach my goal."
