"I love LAHSA. i am a high senior at this wonderful school, and unlike the rest of the public schools, it actually focuses on the individual development of the students at the school. This pilot school has brought great experiences into my life that will help me on my college life."

"It is a performance arts school where my son has achieved straight As on his own merit."

"Fantastic school for my child. Could have fit in anywhere but fits in here perfectly. The school puts the child, his academics and his artistic growth, first. Support is tremendous. Some really great teachers, some not so great. Typical. The music program is top top notch. The school respects the children and the children respect each other. The academics are much more rigorous than in the past but there is an nice balance between expectations in academics and the arts. This place is a true gem."

"One of the best, most innovative, and exceptionally caring high school I've ever seen. The faculty is top notch, the principal/founder is peerless, and the students are fantastic. LAHSA is the hidden gem of LAUSD, and deserves to sparkle on its own!"
