"Have no complaints. Except many extracurricular school trips where the kids miss classes. Generally a happy student population that are committed to academic excellence with the arts offered as well and very integrated."

"my kid went to horace mann said he had problems making friends plus got held back. he was not so good in hebrew and had b's and c's. we tried milken they said if your child is not getting a's and b's you get your money back! so my child went and got the a's i wanted him to have. also he got better in hebrew after 2 years and could read perfectly.it is also good if your kid has some special education requirements because they will do whatever type of room you need for tests."

"Our son came from a public school. The difference is day and night. The academic expectation is far higher and the bar for academic excellence is raised. The attitude is different. At the current school there is a can do attitude with each student given every opportunity to rise to not only academic excellence but also social and moral awareness. As parents we were big believers in public education. Our son is in 12th grade and has grown into a well balanced, focused individual who loves hislearning environment. His high school experience has been a marvellous journey."

"I am a former student of Milken HS. Currently, I am attending the University of Chicago as a Classics/Medieval Lit. Major. Milken not only provided me with a solid foundation in the humanities (numerous AP and honors courses exist), but in Math and Science as well. There are few schools I can imagine that so thoroughly combine Jewish tradition with a thoroughly modern education, both provided in 'state of the art' facilities. My classes in Milken compared favorably to those I am taking as a first year at UofC, which is quite a feat."
