"This school has more cons than pros. It is lacking enrichment in nearly every department. There is absolutely no diversity at this school and the administration could not care any less. They stress the importance of unity, yet do not stress the importance of diversity. All you hear is "as a latino I struggle with (enter whatever struggle that may be" and it seems rather degrading instead of "empowering" as they like to call it. This school emphasizes the latino culture way too much and it's beyond repugnant. I felt as if I did not learn a single thing here. The english department lacks teaching the importance of grammar and annunciation. The science department is completely lacking any provoking thought. This school needs major improvement and the fact that it is so old and cannot be reconstructed is a complete turnoff. The teachers do care about their students, but it feels more of like day-care than a school."

"I love Sacred Heart and do not regret choosing to attend at all. It is my second home. The size of the school is really what sets it apart from others. There is no doubting that Sacred Heart is very small but that's why it's so comforting. There's no way a student can go unnoticed which is something I thought was very important. I did not want to go to a school where I was just a number in the school system. I wanted to be known by my peers and teachers because I knew that would give me the best experience and Sacred Heart is where I was able to make that happen. I would say that joining as many clubs as possible makes for unforgettable memories. Being in the Drama Club freshman and Sophomore year not only broke me out of my shell but is where I found friends from every grade level. At Sacred Heart, when you're in a club your grade level doesn't matter. You meet those who like what you like and it's an instant bond. You see fellow club members everywhere because of the size of the school which is why no one can get swallowed by the masses. Even in an elective class where I was outnumber by seniors, my teacher sought out to know me. Which brings me to the heart and soul of Sacred Heart: the teachers and faculty. As cliche as it sounds, each and every teacher cares for each and every student. The commitment they have to the students creates a learning environment of nothing but security. They are there early in the morning, late into the afternoon just for their students. There is nothing but support oozing out of Sacred Heart teacher and staff members."
