"Toombs County did not prepare students to go to a four year university. The teachers did the minimum when teaching instead of going above and beyond to ensure their students fully understood."

"At Toombs County High School , the teachers barely show the students with respect . You will find very few teachers who actually put forth the effort to help you .The administration never put forth effort to help with problems either"

"Faculty and staff tended to favor the athletes and let a lot of things slide by based on who a student's parents were. The culture was not anything outside of what you would expect from a high school in a small town. I often found myself being told answers rather than challenged in classroom settings. I was not properly prepared for college, especially in the area of mathematics. The school tended to have a distaste for students who chose to be dual-enrolled rather than be a full-time high school student, as I was required to sign in as a guest to my own high school after returning from my college classes in the morning. Overall, my experience was mediocre and I felt as a whole it could have been a lot better,"

"I'm an alum I just graduated and after I graduated I went straight to college which is very overwhelming and I don't think my high school years prepared me enough for this ."

"Toombs County High School is a good close knit high school. The population is small and all the teachers know the students. Sports are big with lots of scholarship opportunities."
