"Hamilton is a good school. Mrs Rittman is a really nice teacher, the bus rides are awful though, and I have to wait forever outside at 7 in the morning for the bus to come and most of the time its late, other than that Hamilton is a great school"

"Hamilton is a great school. The hallways are a bit rowdy and a little bit too narrow. You'll definitely get squished when school is out for the day, going to the lunchroom and transitioning between classes. Some of the teachers rocks, like my sixth grade teachers, Ms. Haase and Ms. Bauer. They're perfect examples of incredible teachers. But some of the teachers just stand there and drone on and on and seemed to be bored with everything they teach. Mr. Nguyen is a good teacher but he seems to have trouble remembering names of certain people including me (it's probably he also has to cram all those equations into his brain along with names of 200 people). He can be a little hard to understand in the first few weeks of school, but over time you'd get use to it."

"This school is ok overall. I agree with the 'ten' rating, but many things could be changed. First of all, there is no school transportation included, students have to pay for, and take, special public transportation [city busses]. The after school programs are good, but the school does not do a good job of informing parents of the activities. Mrs. Crawford [Asst. Principal] is AWESOME. Not very diverse, if you have a minority child, could be culture shock."

"Speaking as a student in Hamilton, I'd have to say it's okay. The after-school activities are nice, and most of the teachers are great, but the halls are noisy in between classes. The lunchroom is also ear-splitting, and riding the bus is rough, and there are not many seats. There is also a good deal of homework in eighth grade, but not very much in sixth and seventh. However, the teachers are incredible. Most of mine have been humorous, positive and lots of fun. Mrs. Bauer and Mrs. Bechen are two amazing teachers. There are a few teachers that are not as good, though. Mrs. Tuccinardi gives lots assignments and hard tests. Mr. Nyugen is a good teacher, though often hard to understand and sometimes accidentally teaching us math we know nothing about. The trophies from various math competitions (over forty of them) are slightly on the intimidating side."

"High academic standards, with plenty of afterschool activities and club. Very involved parent community."
