"I attended JCMS for two and a half years, then ended up being home schooled. The students are terrible and make it nearly impossible to learn. Most of the teachers are horrible too, but there are a few good teachers. The TAG (gifted) program is inefficient. This is by far, the wost school I've been to and I don't recommend sending your kids here unless youu want them to go nowhere in life."

"I went to Jefferson Couty for 3 years. I was an ok school I guess. I had great friendly friends. There was just to much fights over territory. The students test scores were really low also. The teacher would be trying to teach and the kids would be dinking around in the corner distracting other kids from learning. The whole 3 years I was there I really didnt learn any thing. Now that I'm at my new school they have to re teach me everything."

"I would like to support he efforts being made at JCMS. Three years ago the school was plagued with high suspension numbers, terrible behavior problems, poor attendance and test scores heading down. In 2 short years, they have lowered behavior, raised attendance and test scores. I commend the administration for taking steps to get rid of staff who do not support or want to teach our students and replace them with teachers who want to help all the students. JCMS keep up the good work, your heading in the right direction."

"Far too much turnover of teachers. It is obvious that the administration isn't doing their jobs in terms of supporting the teaching staff. Teachers with more experience are now teaching the lowest level kids and brand new teachers teach the advanced kids. Total waste of resources."
