"Some of the newer kids in the student body are very accustomed to living in the "safe space/bubble" Cooper is. I would be surprised of many of these kids were able to survive in the realities of the real world. Additionally, the school lunches need improvement. The prices are ridiculously high, and not many families are as wealthy as most think they are to afford a $13.50 entr"

"At this school, there are two types of teachers. There are those who strive to bring the best they can out of students and genuinely enjoy sharing their knowledge with students. The other kind of teacher cannot wait until school is over and all the kids that need help leave the room; these teachers may be knowledgeable, but they could care less about the students future or the workload they attempt to assign. The first type of teacher is found in every classroom belonging to Cooper's science department. The teachers of the math department are very similar, but that is only the case for students who are in the advanced or AP classes, where the good math teachers teach. The history department is one of the worst in existence, aside from AP US History. It was better before Mrs. Pilling (taught 10th grade World History) retired. The languages department also has strong and engaging teachers, but very weak systematic grading when there is more than one teacher for a class (ex: Spanish 3). Overall, the curriculum is very challenging and is likely not easy to teach."

"The teachers do above and beyond work to help everyone. They are very understanding in certain situations for make up work and catching up if you miss school for being sick or Cooper related activities, but not all the teachers are this way. One or two are a bit stricter and scary."

"A majority of the teachers show favoristism in the classrooms and are not consistent in grading."

"Many of the teachers are great. However I have had issues with a few over my past 13 years at Cooper, however these teachers are usually open to listen if you address the problems that you are having with them or their class."
