"I went and graduated from this school in 2011, i can honestly say they lack everything to teach kids what they need to be taught. The schools book system is off by a long shot (many classrooms still using text books from the 80's), but the school still seems to manage to pay for a 1/2 million dollar track and field and has no problem running their field house. The principle hardly addresses issues, such as a instant with a kid i had i asked him to kindly tell the kid to leave me alone, which he didn't pass on my reply and instead ignored any of my issues. One thing the school does have are some very nice and kind teachers, actually it houses one of the best assortment of teachers you can find. Sadly this is all masked by its unreasonable teaching constructs."

"Good school, but the weakest link in an outstanding school district. Less experience among staff than the younger aged schools. Math department in particular in inexperienced. Having a class difficult doesn't equate to quality and the bent seems to be toward difficult, again especially in math. Foreign language not strong. A large number of students due exceptionally well after graduation, but more due to high education level of parents. High school not very well geared toward average students and special needs such as dyslexia. Safe environment. Good discipline. Somewhat over rated academically. My rating would be a 7 on a 10 point scale."

"I attended this school for 4 years in High School and have almost zero regrets. The teachers are great and qualified, the extra-curriculars are phenominal, and the town is great. I would recommened Mahomet-Seymour High School to any students or parents interested in moving into the area."
