"I have a few issus with the extracurricular opprotunities at this school. The only way students are choosen for any athletic teams is if their parents can afford to enroll them in private lessons before the start of the season. Students are not given a chance to learn the sport and enjoy begin apart of a team."

"This is our first year at Maitland Middle, although our child is in 8th grade. We have been very pleased with this school. Coming from a private school, we didn't expect much, but have been quite suprised. The Music program is, in my opinion, the finest in the state. We came to the school primarily because of the chorus program and have been extremely pleased. The science program is also top notch. As with any school there are issues, but we have found the administration and staff very friendly and willing to work with us. We are sad our child only has one year at this school."

"This school has great teachers but I had few misunderstandings with Discipline Office which usually u except they know what they are doing but when you go talk to them they say "Oh .. I don't know! What Am I supposed to do?". As a parent I thought it was just me who had a problem with just giving refferals that don't make sense but I met two other parents who felt the same that their child was being treated unfairly and told me that the way they operate it is not professional at all. Especially when it comes to patience u except that the staff is trained to have patience with kids as other schools, but I was very dissappointed for a great school to hire unprofessional people. So if you can't take your kids to another school, make sure You are aware how ur child is being treated."
