"I attended PME for 7 years (including kindergarten), I will graduate from High School this year. The teaching was excellent. I still remember how caring all of my teachers were, and I sure do miss it. I know I wasn't the easiest child to deal with (I was very obnoxious, loud, and trouble-making) but they always stayed patient and helped me. I wish I could go back in time to appreciate all that I had in my grasp. I would like to thank especially my 1st grade teacher, Mrs. Cox. Even after all of these years I can't forget how kind she was. She is my inspiration to become a teacher. I don't know if she still teaches or if she will ever read this, but I will forever be grateful to her. If you are moving to Brevard County or you are already in PME's district, please send your children to PME. One story that proves the dedication is when I was in 2nd grade: I fell off of the jungle-gym and broke my arm, my mom was practically confined to bed because of health issues but she was the only one who could pick me up. The principal, Mr. Loffeck, followed my mom and me to the hospital just to make sure we got there alright. Thank you PME for 7 wonderful years. I'm coming to visit soon!!"

"I attended Port Malabar Elementary, and had one of the best experiences there! The teachers were great all the way through (although by now all of my teachers but 1 are gone). PME provides so many opportunities for student-parent involvment as well as many opportunities for students such as news production or safety patrol. I enjoyed my experience with PME and I am proud to have been a pelican for 7 years!! (that includes kindergarten by the way)"

"My granddaughter attended this school. It was her first experience in a public school system in the US. Coming from an small island, there was some culture and tradition shock to deal with. However, her teacher Ms. Boumbouras was gentle, caring and patient with her and helped her meet her goals. As for the overall academic and core value goals of the school, I found it reachable and up scale. I liked the interaction with parents. Port Malabar is an outstanding school and would recommend it to any parent."

"PME is home to our family. We are able to be a part of our daughter's education. There is open communication with the teachers, the counselor's. The staff is always helpful and friendly. Our daughter feels safe and is thriving. There is a feel of pride in one's self, in the school community. I am very proud of PME, and thankful to each and everyone one there."
