"WE LOVE Juan Cabrillo! My Kindergartener and 1st grader can't wait to go to school every day. They love their teachers and all of the fun extra activities they are involved in. They just completed an entire school art project working with a world renowned artist and are currently taking an after school "architect lab" from a prominent Malibu architect - all at no cost. Field trips to the beach, cool musical concerts, interesting science projects, fun PE, exciting computer lab, great after school program, amazing special ed program - it's such a wonderful school! I love the friendly and casual atmosphere and the outstanding parent involvement! The teachers truly care about each student and the proof is happy kids that enjoy their school!"

"I transferred my daughter to Juan Cabrillo school from a local private school. I never knew that teachers and a principal like this existed. The kindness I was shown was incredible. My only regret is that I did not do it sooner. My daughter's test score has shot through the roof! I love Juan Cabrillo Elementary."

"Great school, atmosphere and fantastic teachers. Children are happy, challenged and engaged. In regards to the comment below, yes the diversity in this school is better than other Malibu schools. But I am confused by your comment, "Hispanic children of workers in Malibu." I am a Hispanic parent who lives in Malibu, middle class and works in another city entirely."

"Both of my sons attended Juan Cabrillo and felt that the teachers were so supportive. Juan Cabrillo teaches students from all 'walks of life.' There are children of white middle class families, Hispanic children of workers in Malibu, handicapped children and some celebrity children who attend. This is quite a mix in a classroom and the teachers and administration handle it all so well. We are very proud of our school!"

"We have a very diverse school that has an amazing special education program and our very own OT clinic on site. We have wonderful and compassionate teachers who love their students."
