"I'm a parent who has been at the school since the beginning and have witnessed unbelievable growth and change. there are pros and cons. my older 2 are in college. both went through oaks from 6-12. both were tired of it by senior year and ready for a change BUT both agree it was a great education and have excelled in college. They continue to be in touch with teachers and other students from the school. My last child is a junior and has loved it from the beginning. The teachers are incredible-- not just in academics ( some areas, like foreign language could stand improvement), but in overall mentoring, motivation and genuine care for the student. believe me, if there is a truly bad teacher, they are gone after a year. My bigger concern is that some of the students and parents may attend as a status symbol, instead of what the mission statement aspires to. On the plus side, there are still families who are there because they want an excellent education and a Christian worldview. I will caution anyone who is not prepared for a Christian curriculum. Do be warned: Christianity is woven into everything, so if this bothers you, this is not the school for you."

"I couldn't disagree more with the last reviewer. My daughter just graduated from Oaks and loved every minute of her time there. Mr. Moore was her favorite teacher in the school and inspired her to love history! I know she is well prepared for college and will be successful due to her education at Oaks!"

"this is my son's 3rd year at this chool, and I would do anything to take the time back so I coul reverse enrolling him at Oaks, this is not the kind Christian school you pictured it to be, it is all about who donates how much? This teachers especially David Moore, you must watch out for this guy, kids are afraid of him, he is a swim coach and one of the founders of school, he does what he wants, the principle has no power over him. Teachers favor the kids who are in sports, they do not have the best interest at heart for the kids. My son is now eleven grade and I have decided to move him, he is very down and sad in the school, he coment was "mom it makes me sad that looking back at my high school, I have to think of Oaks, this is not a Christian environment, the school does not care for the students" The administration does nothing for the kids, if you sign your child in this school, please do not enroll him in David Moores class, this guy has no heart, he is a history teacher, and most kids that took history with him, commented how much they hate history."

"Have 2 at the school and couldn't be happier with the education they are getting. Small class sizes, along with the teachers showing personal interest in my kids. The sports and performing arts are awesome and they are growing spiritually."

"My daughter just finished sixth grade and we both LOVE the school and the teachers. We will be there till 12th grade. She has excelled so much in one year academically, physically, and most importantly spiritually. She did not know one person there, but when she walked in the doors of the school she said she felt she belonged there. She absolutely loves OC."
