"Overall, Oaks Christian strives to encourage growth in kids, according to every aspect of its mission statement. As in all schools, there exist teachers (mostly the english teachers) here that could use considerable improvement in understanding how to challenge without defeating students. Most are more than eager to support students and to share spiritually and emotionally. My kids graduated from Oaks, having attended middle school and high school. They did not play sports or an instrument and they weren't involved in theater. They received financial aid. I share this to show a different side to earlier comments. I also respect Oaks for offfering help for students with learning disabilities and having a free academic success program to work with kids who are having difficulties with learning or kids with ADHD. It helps them with how to study and how to learn. My son was in the program in 9th grade and it helped him so much that he was on honor roll in 10th grade. He just needed that extra help getting organized and understanding how to handle the assignments. I do recommend Oaks Christian."

"I go to Oaks Christian and this school is absolutely horrible, they drive knowledge that is higher than college level down the throats of the innocent adolescents. I am leaving this school because the academics are too hard and their disciplinary actions are skewed. And for your information, this school is only 1/4 religious, most of the students are Athiest."

"Incredible academic and athletic school. My step son has friends over to the house quite a bit and these kids are unbelievably polite. There are kids from every walk of life here."

"I love my school. Im in 8th grade right now and I dont know why all the parents say in their reviews that the teachers don't care about the students. I love all my teachers so far and started to create a bond between them. You never know maybe its just the High School teachers that they don't like. Also, Oaks may be harder than some other schools but it pushes you to do your greatest. 8th grade is supposed to be the hardest year for me, and it is but I've been learning alot at this school."

"At first look, I thought Oaks was a wonderful school. The physical plant is state-of-the-art, the academics were challenging, and the elective program was the best I have ever seen. Biblical teachings seemed to be interwoven throughout the day. However, after my child was enrolled in Oaks for several years, I began to see a hypocrisy when it came to finances. Parents who donate lots of money get special treatment for their children . Students who are not the best at athletics and visual and performing arts get great parts in shows or are placed on varsity teams when other students (whose parent don't have large sums to donate) who are better qualified are left behind. Children of Oaks teachers also seem to get preferential treatment. The biggest hypocrisy is from the Oaks Performing Arts parent support group, a group supposedly organized to support the arts but is really a group of four mothers who donate large sums and demand their children get preferential treatment. I hope the board of directors comes to their senses and focuses on Christian values guiding the school instead of a few wealthy parents calling the shots. Be careful about enrolling your child in this school."
