"a child can easily succeed in marathon...Its a great school! True there not many variety in there programs...but compare with other schools and marathon seems to be the best in the world...i really hope to go bck my current school is 200 times worse than marathon!"

"the music program is in shambles first of all. This school is extremely hard to work with also and is uncooperative. The staff has an extremely high turnover rate, with all administrators being replaced this year, and a new band director coming in every year. The marching band continues to plummet in size, and despite this, the administration frowns on students who bring this up."

"The discipline problems in this school are profound given the size of the school. It is an aging campus that desperately needs to be rebuilt. There are very limited vocational programs. Only three years of foreign language instruction is offered. Class sizes are rather large. AP classes are also limited. The music program is currently in shambles. It does have a strong football program if that is important to you."
