"Our son attended Village for two years and we can't say enough good things about the teachers, leadership, and curriculum. Even though it is a large school, each student gets individual attention - the whole child is educated - mind, body, and spirit! Our son has benefitted greatly from the philosphy curriculum including responsive classroom and he has grown as a writer and scholar, all the while being nurtured in a safe environment (that is no nonsense when it comes to bullying and other social issues). Our daughter joins the Village ranks next year and she cannot wait. Thank you Village School for your vision and dedication."

"My daughter is in 4th grade at the Village School and says it is her best school year ever! That is saying a lot since she said the same thing when she was at the Coffin School! We have found the teachers at the Village to be incredibly excited about teaching, highly experienced and very kind and patient. There is a strong academic focus at this school, and the teachers are very well trained to notice when a child is struggling. Instead of singling those children out, the school provide additional guidance within the classroom setting in a way which assists all children in achieving their academic goals. It is a nonintrusive and supportive approach which encourages high self esteem, and an accepting student community. The Fine Arts program provides the children with advanced instruction, techniques and materials. The Music program is phenomenal, especially the Choral department, and there are many opportunities for children to participate in Sports. It is exciting for my daughter to be attending a school which places such emphasis on Academics, the Arts and Sports, truly encouraging students to be the best they can be."

"As an education student, I'm required to do a certain amount of observation hours in a school setting. After seeing the inner-workings of the Village School, it's safe to say that the teachers and staff members go above and beyond what is required of them to make the Village School a safe environment that fosters student achievement across the board. I was highly impressed, and I plan on going back to do my student teaching there."
