"Concord Elementary is a great school. It is in a new building (built 2006) and is equipped with state of the art technology like interactive digital boards, projectors and laptops for students. The gym, library & outdoor play area is great & the cafetaria has a reasonable selection. Best of all, the teachers are engaged and enthusiastic about teaching and the kids feed off the enthusiasm. My daughter is thrilled to go here & loves to show off 'her' school. The only item on my 'wish list' is for KG to be full day program rather than the half day it is now.. May be next year.... BTW, since Concord Elementary only goes up to 2nd grade there are no PA test scores for the school. All you would get is that the school made AYP (adequate yearly progress) which doesn't even begin to describe the learning that takes place here"

"School is state of the art, brand new. Teachers and parent are incredibly engaged. We moved to this area exclusively for this school district and have been very happy"

"We recently moved to GVSD from another state. I was concerned that my first grader would take a long time getting settled in her new school. I could not have been more impressed with the special attention and nurturing that she received not only from her teacher but from the entire office staff, the school counselors and the Principal. I received calls from the Principal to let me know that she was doing well for the first few days of school - as if this new student's well being was of utmost concern to her. I have also been very pleased with the curriculum and high standards of education that Concord Elementary is implementing. My little girl has never been happier at school."

"I have had one child graduate from GVHS and two other still in Concord Elem. and I have to say my oldest did not go to GV elementary schools and I wish she had. My two youngest are well above what she was learning at our previous school district. I think highly of our teachers and they caught a problem with my middle child right away and has been working with him to correct it. I call call the teacher at home or school and I can also e-mail them if there is a problem and they get back to me the same day. I hope the standards that they set stay with my kids through out their education."
