"As a parent who has one student who has graduated and one in school I have been very happy with the education and Mainland in general."

"As a teacher in a neighboring school district, I see the clear differences between Mainland and other schools. The parents and students are much more involved at Mainland. Teachers are very willing to help students and many make themselves available before or after school hours. Communication between the school and parents has improved over the last several years as well. It is not a perfect school, but there is no such place. As always, it is what you make of the opportunities presented. I truly think that Mainland offers more than most."

"It is a really lousy school. There is no follow-up and if you email and call teachers about your child failing most of them do not get back to you. The child study team is a joke. All they do is collect a paycheck."

"Mainland is far and away the best school in the county, a nationally recognized Blue Ribbon school. Mainland has many AP classes to offer its advanced students, as well as a plethora of electoral classes unique to the curriculum, including air brush and dance. The athletics department is top-notch, and there are many clubs to choose from, ranging from physics to fencing. The teachers convey their subjects much better than some of the college professors I had in the past. Your child will succeed there."
