    "Germantown high school has failed the no child left behind program for years, but cannot be overhauled without displacing a bunch of students. I feel sorry for whoever has to go here."

    "I believe that Germantown has the potiential to be a leading role model for other schools . It has the necessary components to become a top notch school, the teachers and administrative staff work diligently to handle all issues that seem to render insuffientcies; to a level of control which allows the students to learn and grow. The extra curricular activities are outstanding, including the extra services and programs provided by the Americore foundation. I worked with Germantown students including the Administration, staff, teachers and diciplinary aids, and found them to be caring and attentive. Parents who also had youngsters enrolled in the after school program were often very willing to roll up their sleves and devote time and talent with and for their children. The very fact that Germantown opened it's doors to allow such a program, proves that it is worthy of recognition and praise."

    "Germantown High has had some issues with its administration, teachers, and community in the past. Of late I have seen a change. There is an increase in the number of disruptive students being transferred out as well as a number of new and exciting programs coming in. The renovation of the library by community and the alumni as well as the response during the past King Day of Service has brought some of the pride back to the school."

    "Germantown was once a neighborhood high school but I have noticed students coming from all over. It has gotten alot safer and they have a few good academic programs. Overall it seems to be a good school."

    "Germantown High School is any thing but a great school! I understand, and agree that any child attending school needs to put their own best foot' forward for their own future, but this is another one of those school that need a serious over-haul! Germantown High is not an organized school. You could ask a question concerning transfer issues. I had that problem. Before I got the right information about what to do, and who to talk to, it was too late to do any thing about it."
