"I graduated from PRHS, and my only regret about going to Pine-Richland is that I only went there for the last 2 years. My parents moved to Pine Twp. from Franklin Park so I could go to P-R instead of NA, and I am so glad they did! My sister went to NA from 3rd grade on and didn't like any of the schools she went to...P-R is smaller than NA or other nearby school districts (e.g. Seneca Valley) so you don't feel lost in the crowd. I was able to participate in more things at P-R than I would have at bigger high schools--I was part of 2 choirs and played a sport. At bigger schools, I wouldn't have made the choirs or the team. As far as academics at P-R, they are just as good or better than a lot of the private schools. I did my first 2 years of high school at a private school, and some of my non-honors/AP classes at P-R were actually more challenging than the classes at my private school. I couldn't be happier or prouder to call myself a Pine-Richland Alum!!"

"This school is for the elite of the North HIlls. The popular kids rule the school and it is a very scary place for those who the popular kids decide don't fit in. Try outs for cheerleading, sports and dance team are all rigged. The administration has not implimented any programs at the high school level to promote the kids working together - they do not teach acceptance, tolerance and respect. This school has a reputation in the area for entitled kids with bad attitiudes. As far as their test scores, they are just ok. They are weak in math and science at the high school level. Their english department appears to be fairly good, as well as, the social studies. But not as good as other ghig schools in the north hills who have student bodies that are much more economically diverse and friendly."

"I have four children, 3 graduated from Pine Richland and I have one who will graduate this year, the teachers are wonderful, they offer so much more than I have ever imagined. Parents are constantly involved. Great school :)"

"Like the school, however it is weak in a few areas in my opinion. I believe that the Spanish department is rather weak, and that in regular (non-honors/AP) English classes, the teachers are weak on teaching kids to write. aside from that great school, extracurricular activities are great. AAAA now, NA better get ready for the Rams."

"Awesome school. The students are very academically motivated and the teachers are great. The sports teams are some of the best in the state at the AAA level."
