"I am very pleased with my child's experiences at Rowan Elementary. The new anti bullying program is particularly innovative. The principal is very hands on and the teachers are very educated."

"I too have nothing but positive to say about this school. We moved into the district in December 2007, my child was in Kindergarten. When my child started she was behind the kids in her class. The teacher was great and helped us to get caught up and she had no problem adjusting. Do not look at State Rankings alone, our old district was ranked much higher than SV and I do not think they compare at all, at least at the elementary level. The teachers and administration are terrific. They encourage parent involvement in the classroom. The class size is great, 17 in my child s first grade class. If you are considering moving into the Cranberry Area you will not be disappointed with this elementary school."

"We have had nothing but an exceptional experience with our first child. Our second will begin Kindergarten in the Fall of 2008. We are currently looking to move within our same community. We are making it top priority to stay within Rowan 'borders'. It is a wonderful school, very friendly, parents are welcome and involved. We feel very lucky to have Rowan as our children's elementary school."

"My children's experience at Rowan has been very rewarding. My son was identified as gifted in the third grade. The program that was set up for him has enabled him to excel through Junior High. When my daughter struggled academically the problem was identified and a team of staff developed and executed a strategy that has enabled her to reach academic accomplishments I thought were impossible. Mr. M the gym teacher plays a key role in building the self esteem of all kids."

"Good teachers, nice facility and class rooms. Lots of learning materials, and full teacher commitment. Friendly principal. This school does something good with the money and resources. I assume this is one of the better schools within the Pittsburgh greater area. I wished I would have had such school system in Germany 35 years ago."
