"I came to this school in third grade. It was different for me, because I was used to an environment that was very open an friendly, but I was not shown any sign of welcome. Cliques were already formed, and I had to change who I was as a person to make a few friends. The math program in middle school has a bad reputation. However, the school hired a new math teacher that is wonderful. If you want to send your child to this school, make sure she goes at an early age so she/he won't be caught up in the mess of trying to fit in as the new kid."

"We have three children at St. Joseph School. My children love school! The academics are excellent and the teachers challenge my children every day. The school leadership is strong and is committed to maintaining an environment for your child to be successful. The children learn french starting in preschool. All the classes have smart boards. There are after school enrichment clubs and sports starting in first grade. Overall, if you are looking for a school that will encourage, nurture, and challenge your child academically St. Joseph School is the place."

"Having taught 5-8th grade science at St Joseph over a time frame of four decades I can say that it was a pleasure to go to school every day. The school atmosphere is one of unconditional acceptance. Discipline combined with love works to let the students know what is "fair" so that students, teachers, administration and staff work for the good of the school."

"My daughter loves going to school. The environment is wonderful. The staff does a great job nurturing the whole child in a way that can't be matched in public schools. The academics are appropriately challenging and the use of technology (including smart boards) is very current. I would definitely recommend St. Joseph School."

"Proud parent of a St. Joe's student and parishoner. I would encourage anyone moving to central PA to consider this school for their children. Best in the area."
