"There are some really great teachers there. The building is very old. The bathrooms need to be remodeled badly. My child has food allergies and one of her teachers didn't handle it well at all."

"I love Pearson's Corner Elem. I have two daughters there and we have never encountered a problem of any kind. One daughter is in Third and the other is in First. With all the teachers they have had, I have been impressed with all of them! I am a certified teacher and love the close knit community feel of Pearson's Corner. It ranks a 10 from our family!"

"The teachers and staff really do care about the education and well-being of their students. My son has Leukemia and the PCES staff have gone out of their way to ensure Mark is a winner in all scenerios."

"Pearson's Corner Elementary is a wonderful school. This school has established itself in the Hanover County system year after year for excellent test scores. In 2006 we had the highest passing rate in the county! The teachers are very supportive and work well with the parents to assure every child's needs are met. This may be an older building facility but it has character and charm. It has gardens for each grade level and even a Dragon Fly Pond created by parent volunteers and local commercial support. It has all the new technology found in all the Hanover schools and even kids in first grade are learning to 'Google' items for research. The PTA is very strong, and has had 100% enrollment participation the past years. This is an amazing group of teachers who look at each child individually for placement in academic levels to ensure success."

"Mr. Smith is an excellent caring principal. He provides opportunities and programs for the students to excel in their learning capabilities. The teachers are fantastic! My daughter couldn't wait to loop with her Kindergarten teacher for First Grade. PCES has made my child love school and it's this caring attitude that illustrates academic excellence towards her future abilities to excel."
