"I love going to north! I must say that like any school it has its problems. But if your children are smart there are no problem. This is the best school I have ever been to for sure. This school not only cares about the students but also keeps them safe. The faculty is great most are very nice. I think the lady who posted that they were the worst was crazy. The environment is welcoming and very nice. Im just an a student not an ap or honors student never have been. But next year I was told that I was goin g to have two ap class and one honnors class. This school is a great place to be a student."

"I love going to North. It's filled with excellent clubs and opportunities to get involved. There are over a dozen AP classes and even more honors courses. The teachers are for the most part great, but those who are less qualified are balanced by others who are very intelligent and helpful to students. I feel like people care about my opinions and I'm welcome here. I must admit there are problems among certain groups of students, but if you stick with the right people you won't have any problems here. Excellent music, drama, and arts classes, and the sports are fantastic in some aspects and improving where they aren't. A qualified office staff and some of the best administrators around make it all around great. Mr. Beick the principal is amazing, I don't think anyone else could care more about students and making the school the best it can be!"

"I am a parent of 2 children who attend this school. I have no problems with my children during the summer months with behavior until they start up school again. This school has the worst environment, the worst drug and alcohol problem in the area, and the worst faculty ever. I can stand in the doorway with 2 staff member standing in front of me facing me chatting away about what they did during the weekend, they see me standing there, dont acknowledge me for a good 5 minutes. I had to actually say excuse me, i need to etc etc! Worthless staff."

"I think that the school could focus a little more on music, and a little less on sports."

"While we do have some great sports programs here. I'm afraid that the school as a whole could be doing a lot better. Starting with the way the campus is currently constructed, it is hard to have a very good school atmosphere or sense of togetherness; Which makes it a lot less friendly. Although I'm a true black tornado, I can't help but say that we could learn a few things leadership-wise from our crosstown rivals at South; the way I've seen that program bring their school together amazes me."
