"I love central middle school. It is the best school I have ever been to!!!!"

"I believe Central is one of the worst middle schools in Central Florida. I believe the Principal should not have her job. I believe this school should be checked out further, because I do not believe the Superintendent is actually getting a true account of how many fights and issues there are in that school. I believe most of the issues are pushed under the rug. They need more qualified teachers, more resource officers and a new Principal/Deans. With the high taxes, this school should be better. The teachers do not teach out of a book, they teach the students whatever they want, all the teachers are teaching totally different things, very hard for tutors/parents to help out."

"I attend Central middle school as an eighth grader, and I think the school is academically great, but the administration leaves much to be desired. In response to the review from April 2005, I must argue that the facts presented in the review are incorrect. Most of the seventh and eighth grade students are required to have a gym class year round. The sixth graders are kept away from the rest of the school partly because they do not have the same course requirements as the rest of the school and also because their school starts at a different time. They also go to school for one less hour than us. They are not being penalized because of the poor planning of the school builders because originally they were not supposed to be a part of Central, and trying to smash sixth, seventh, and eight graders together would not be fair."

"We have been in the school for about a year and a half. My daughter is in the advanced classes and doing well. She is challenged and not bored and most of all she likes the school. It is a very safe school and so far all of the teachers she has had are very good and have exceeded my expectations. My daughter has no complaints about her teachers either. A little short on clubs and extra curricular though....no football team."

"My daughter attends Central Middle School as a sixth grader school due to overcrowding at the elementary level. The academic portion of the school appears to be commendable however I have issue with non-academic policies. There is no standard physical education course provided year round for these students. They have an option for PE as part of the 'wheel' but it has limited time associated with it. Given the fact our youth is overweight and under-excercised, and the requirements stipulated for youth by the School Board, Central falls short in providing this very basic need.In addition, the sixth graders are keep isolated from the older children (what is the concern? what does that say about the school population?) and are denied extra curricular activites or clubs. They are being penalized because of poor planning on the part of the school builders. They should be afforded the same as the other students."
