"Teachers are called by their first name. A fort bragg education is by all means the equivalent if not better for college preparation."

"This is a great school! Every parent should put their child at Mendocino High."

"This is a small beautifully sited campus on a hill overlooking historical Mendocino Village and the ocean. The school is small, intimate and focused on community based learning and college prep. Mendocino historically have some of the highest SARC scores in the state. There is a full time band and chorus program for the district which serves 585 students K-12. Parent involvement is encouraged and parents raise funds for athletics, music and Alternative Education Week."

"I graduated from MHS in 2001. My education far surpassed what my current college peers recieved. At MHS, we had an honor code, so no locks were put on lockers. We called our teahers by their first names. It wasn't cliquey, stuffy, or lax. It was rigorous, demanding, but supportive and fun. I couldn't have asked for a better public education."
